The story
Dirt road raised. Her rules.
Kaylee Vance grew up on the edge of Bakersfield, California, where the oil fields meet the orange groves and the Bakersfield country sound was born. She came up on back roads and in a gravel-lot garage, learning rhymes from rap tapes in the truck cab and melodies from the radio on the porch.
Every tattoo on her marks a chapter. The day she claimed her own look and her own voice, she stopped shrinking herself. Now she raps her own stories from a tailgate, with her band The Pink Pistons, for every girl who was ever told she was "too much."
That voice got her signed. Kaylee Vance is the newest artist on Ocean Blue Records, and her debut album Highway 99 lands November 6, 2026.
